Volunteering in Ávila, Spain
El Barco the Ávila (which literally means "The boat of Ávila") is a beautiful village by the river Tormes with an impressive medieval castle and great views to the Sierra de Gredos.
It is one of those magical places full of peace that will make you feel at ease from the very first minute.
El Barco de Ávila is known for having a unique type of beans with its own guarantee of origin which you'll enjoy during your stay with us.
Volunteers are accommodated in single ensuite rooms in the hotel El Mirador de Gredos****. An elegant and comfortable hotel, where you can relax in the cosy living rooms or enjoy a nice walk by the river.
The hotel is just 5 minutes walking distance from the village crossing a twelfth century Romanesque bridge over the Tormes river.
